note
Sight
Bright and clear golden colour
Smell
Nose of citrus and lavender combined with orange zest.
Taste
The palate is rich and concentrated, with a pronounced but not excessive texture. The long, fresh finish gives it lightness and staying power.
Terroir
All the terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape are represented in this cuvée for a great complexity and a beautiful minerality: rolled pebbles, calvary, marl, red clay…
Vinification and ageing
Vinification
Roussanne was harvested early (mid August 2019) and with low degrees to keep a high level of acidity. Vinification in oak barrels.
Clairette and Grenache white were fermented at low temperature to preserve the minerality
Ageing
Roussane was aged in oak barrels for 8 months with regular stirring.
Clairette and Grenache white were aged in stainless steel tanks.
