Châteauneuf-du-Pape
The 1998 vintage would appear to be a great and very spicy vintage characterized by aromas of over-ripeness. Wines from that year often show a harmony between alcohol and tannin that makes them greedy, rich and powerful.

Silky tannins, lovely freshness that persists on the finish.

Vinification and ageing
Vinification
Total destemming and partial crushing. Vinification in truncated wooden vats and traditional concrete vats.
Aging
Single aging in concrete vats to preserve freshness and fruit.
